GETTING STARTED
If you are new to this style of training or don’t have prior CrossFit experience then you will need to complete our “Base Basics” induction course. The aim of the Base Basics course is to give you an understanding of the Base Fitness methodology and style of training as well as to learn the fundamental movements used in our classes.
We’ll teach you how to move safely, consistently. The sessions will cover The Squat Series – air squat, front squat and back squat and The Press Series – shoulder press, push press and push jerk. We also cover an introduction to Olympic lifting, scaling options and other movements.
Each session will finish off with a workout as well to give you a taste of what to expect once you enter into our classes.
New Member Induction
Every new member joining BaseFitness & CrossFit East Kilbride completes our New Member Induction programme before attending regular CrossFit classes.
Delivered over two one-to-one sessions with an experienced coach, the induction is designed to help you build confidence, learn the fundamental movements and training techniques used within CrossFit, and experience how our classes are structured. Each session includes skill development and a workout, allowing you to learn in a supportive environment and progress at your own pace.
The induction costs £80 and includes:
- Two one-to-one coaching sessions
- Introduction to fundamental CrossFit movements and techniques
- A guided workout experience
- The opportunity to ask questions and get personalised support
If you have previously participated in CrossFit for three months or more, please get in touch. We’d be happy to arrange a trial class so you can experience BaseFitness before joining.
MEMBERSHIP PACKAGES
Once you’ve completed your Base Basics course, or, if you have been involved in CrossFit for more than 3 months previously,
you’ll have the option to sign up to one of our membership packages.
All of our memberships are based on a month-to-month rolling contract with no start up or initiation fees and no long-term commitment required.
PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal coaching is available for those who are keen to develop their skills or strength at a quicker rate, get added guidance and education or for those who simply prefer the 1-to-1 feel to a session.
We also offer 2-to-1 and small group training sessions.
